Step 01
Download and install
- Download the DMG. Use the button above to get `ArigeIsland-1.1.dmg`.
- Open the DMG. Double-click it from your Downloads folder.
- Move it to Applications. Drag `ArigeIsland.app` into the `Applications` folder.
- Launch it from Applications. Avoid running it directly from the DMG window long term.
Step 02
Allow it in Privacy & Security
- Try opening ArigeIsland once. If macOS says it cannot verify the developer, close the warning.
- Open System Settings. Go to Privacy & Security.
- Find the security message. Scroll down to the Security section and find the ArigeIsland warning.
- Click Open Anyway. Enter your Mac password or use Touch ID, then confirm Open.
If Open Anyway is missing, open ArigeIsland from Applications once more, then return to Privacy & Security. Do not disable Gatekeeper or run unfamiliar Terminal commands.
Step 03
Finish first setup
Step 04
Use it day to day
- Look near the MacBook notch: music, system status, and Shelf expand there.
- Search files: type a filename and open the result you need.
- Open Settings from the island to adjust size, behavior, scopes, and feature toggles.
- Turn on Launch at login if you want ArigeIsland to start automatically.
